“I still can’t believe how my mother acted.” Jon said to Dot when they were alone in their bedroom later that evening.
They had just checked on the kids and Kris was again whispering that sentence in her sleep. Jon really started to get worried about it. What happened that she didn’t want? He was already thinking about worse case scenarios…he really hoped he was wrong!
“Well, I didn’t expect anything else. It was all about her again…Kris and her feelings didn’t matter at all to her.” Dot knew that she probably hurt Jon with that answer, but someday he had to see that his mother wouldn’t change anymore.
Jon looked at her for a minute and sighed. “I just hoped…”
“Jon, she won’t change her habits…she just has to be the center of attention…” Dot put her arms around his neck and looked him deep in the eyes.
“…She. Won’t. Change.” She said stressing every single word. Jon closed his eyes.
“Yeah…you right.” His arms pulled her close, he hided his face in her long soft hair and inhaled her scent. Jon stood like that for several minutes and Dot held him, knowing it wasn’t easy for him.
When Jon looked at her again, he had a light smile on his face. “Thanks, Dotty. I really needed that.” He kissed her softly. She smiled.
“Let’s go to bed, baby.” Jon pulled her with him towards the bed.
Lying down he kissed her again. This time more passionate. Dot moaned, her hands ran through his blond hair, she pressed herself against his warm strong body. She wanted him.
Jon kissed his way down her throat, pushing her sleep shirt over her head. His mouth found her shoulders, her breast and finally sucked at her already hard nipples.
“Jon.” Dot moaned in pleasure. He took his time, making sure each of her nipples was standing rock hard. When his hands moved further done her body, he suddenly looked up surprised.
“Aren’t you normally wearing panties under this?” he asked, his hands already on her hips while his mouth was still close to her navel, which he’d just explored.
Dot smiled and tried to get her already labored breathing under control. “Something was telling me it would only be in the way tonight.”
Jon smirked. “You naughty girl…I like your way of thinking.” He set himself back to his mission and kissed her flat belly again. It always amazed him how damn sexy she still looked after two pregnancies.
“You are so beautiful, Dotty” he whispered.
“Jon, please…” Dot said breathless and tried to push his head further down her body.
“Uh, uh, baby…not so fast.” Jon replied with gleaming eyes.
He knew she wanted him. He could already smell her arousal, actually could see her sweet juices ran down her thighs. Her body reacted so instantly after all these years of passionate love making that he could just talk her into her orgasm.
What was a good think, especially when he was on tour. He had lost the counting how often they had telephone-sex in the last couple years. And he had to admit Dot was extremely good at it too.
“JON!” His head snapped up.
“What ever you are thinking about, I would really appreciate it if you do it later!” Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes had darkened and she was now trying to press he thighs together to relief some of the up building pressure.
With a smile on his face Jon spread her legs and slowly started stroking her wet pussy.
“Oh God!” Dot threw her head back in the pillows.
His thumb was now caressing her clit. And he couldn’t resist her sweet smell and bend down to taste her. Dot moaned out loud. He knew exactly what she needed. She could feel his tongue dancing with her clit, sucking lightly on it from time to time, but not strong enough to make her come.
“Jon…I …need…you…inside…me…please…honey.” She could hardly speak anymore. Jon stroked her a couple more times, then kissed his way up to her mouth. Their tongues met in a passionate dance. He changed his position and entered her in one long, slow movement.
“Yeeees…” Dot moaned when her heated flesh engulfed his rock hard cock. Her legs closed around his waist, giving him deeper access.
Jon didn’t rush. He wanted it to last a while. He watched her fascinated while feeling her walls closing around him stronger with every single stroke.
Her cheeks were red now; sweat was running down her throat following that little path between her full breasts. Her eyes were closed and she had a little smile on her face.
One hand was resting on his shoulder pulling him down to her gorgeous lips from time to time, while the other one was touching her right breast, rubbing over the hard nipple or squeezing it.
He could feel her coming closer to her release and changed his position slightly. “Oh, God…JON!”
Yeah, that was the spot. He smiled proudly and speeded up. After a couple forceful strokes Dot screamed out her release, Jon following her couple seconds later.
Together they were riding through the last waves till they collapsed exhausted.
Jon needed a few minutes to find the strength to move off Dot. Still breathing heavy he turned out the light on the nightstand and pulled her in his arms, thanking god once again that he found her all these years ago. He had no idea what he would ever do with out her. Hearing her constant deep breathing, he felt finally asleep.

Chapter nine
Jon had planned to have a nice quite weekend. Just the five of them playing games and doing normal stuff at home to get to know each other better.
He really wanted to give Kris the chance to get used to the rest of the family. The next weeks would be stressful enough for her with a new school and all the other things that would come along with that. She should be able to at least relax here at home and not worry about what would happen when she came through the door.
But he forgot his parents, well especially his mother.
“Jon, honey…I’m so glad you guys are home. I’m so excited. Where is she?” Carol said while hugging a surprised Jon after he opened that door.
“Uhm, mom…” But Carol was already on her way to the kitchen.
“I tried to tell her it’s too early. That we should wait till you asked us to come over, but she didn’t listen to me….as always. I’m sorry son.” John gave his son a brief hug and an apologetic look.
“It’s ok dad, I know no one can stop her. But I really think we’ll have a problem here in a few minutes.” His father looked at him a bit confused.
“Kris has been through a lot dad and she’s not used to have people around her who care … or hug and kiss.” He added after a small break.
“Oh, shit…dammit” John cursed. “CAROL!” he yelled and tried to caught up to his wife.
Jon was right behind him, maybe they could make her leave again. Even though he didn’t really believe that.
Fortunately Kris was upstairs changing from pyjamas to normal cloth and no longer sitting at the breakfast table with Dot. He could count on his wife that she wouldn’t let his mother upstairs, Dot hated it when Carol was going from one bedroom to another and checking on her.
When the two men entered the kitchen Dot was already trying to tell Carol that their visit was way to early that it would too much for Kris.
“Oh, Dot dear…we’re her grandparents, she’ll love us. We will never be too much for her.” Carol told her and patted her left cheek.
Dot glanced at Jon. Her eyes were showing her anger. She was close to explode. When would Carol stop acting like she was still the 16 year old girl that Jon brought home with? She wanted to scream.
Jon and his father also failed in telling her that it just wasn’t the right at this point. Dot sighed deeply and left the kitchen.
“Uhm, Dot.” Jon followed her and put his hand on her right shoulder. “What are you doing?”
“If you think that I let this poor girl meet your mother without any warning or preparation, you are nuts!”
Jon wanted to say something, but Dot continued. “…AND if you don’t make sure that they are gone again in one hour…and I mean ONE hour and stand up for Kris as soon as your mother starts venting against her….and we all know she will…I swear to God, Jon…you will be sleeping in the guestroom till next year!” Angry she turned around and walked upstairs.
Jon sighed. Fuck, dammit! Quite weekend, that’s all he wanted. A quite weekend. “Mom, Dad why don’t we go into the living room.” Jon asked beaten.
On her way upstairs Dot tried to get her anger under control. She knocked at Kris’ door.
“Kris? Can I come in?” she asked.
“Yes.” she heard the muffled reply through the door.
Kris was sitting on the couch, looking through her note sheets.
“We need to talk about something, Kris.” Dot said and sat down across from her.
“Is something wrong?” the girl asked worried.
“Well, not really wrong…uhm, Jon’s parents…your grandparents are here.” Dot said.
“Oh.” Kris eyes narrowed a bit. Was she angry? Dot wondered.
“We didn’t know they were coming over today. Actually we thought it would be too early for that. You just arrived two days ago, but they are anxious to get to know you.” Dot continued.
“I see.” Kris answered.
“Uhm...there’s one thing you should probably know…uhm.” Dot couldn’t believe it, she was stumbling here. Kris watched her carefully.
“Jon’s mother, your grandmother…Carol’s her name…she’s well not easy to handle.” Kris looked confused.
“She has the tendency to…not listen to other people, to do what she thinks is right…sometimes ignore the feelings of her fellow man completely…and she loves to hug and kiss…and she’s …uhm…just…”
“…a bit too much.” Kris offered.
“Yeah, thanks.” Dot took a deep breath.
“You don’t like her very much.” Kris said. Not a question a statement.
“Well, she is a great grandmother for Steph and Jesse, she spoils them, but when we met I was sixteen and she still has the feeling she has to patronize me…and often your dad. I tolerate most of it, because I don’t want a fight each time we meet.” Dot explained. Kris just nodded.
“Do I have to do that too?” She asked.
“NO! If she does something you don’t want...tell her, Kris. That’s something I should have done too, but now it’s too late for that.” Dot advised her.
“What about my…Jon’s father?” Oh, that won’t be easy, Dot thought.
“His name is John. He’s a real sweetheart. I’m sure you will like him. He’s much calmer than Carol, tries to control her moods as good as possible. He will respect it, if you tell him that you need a break, that’s too much for today.” Kris could see that Dot really liked her father-in-law.
“Well, ok…let’s go.” Kris said. The faster I get downstairs, the faster they are gone again.
After a short check on Steph and Jesse, who were playing in their game room and would stay there for the next few minutes, who know what would happen when Kris and Carol meet, Dot and Kris walked downstairs.
“Ready?” Dot whispered before they reached the living room.
Kris nodded.
“Oh, there she is…what a beautiful young lady…she looks exactly like you Johnny.” Carol shouted out in delight as soon as Dot and Kris entered the room.
Kris eyes just grew wide in shock.
Even though Dot told her that Carol could be just too much sometimes….this was…this was…she didn’t even find a word for it…and Johnny?
She looked over to Jon, he watched her carefully, looking for any signs of fear…and the same thing was the older man doing, who was sitting on the couch next to Jon…must be his father. Dot was right, he seemed to be nice.
“Oh, come here darling.” Kris was shocked Carol was walking towards her with her arms wide open like she wanted to hug the whole world. Quickly she took two steps back.
“Oh, you don’t have to be shy...I’m your grandmother.” Carol said smiling.
Kris right eyebrow rose. It’s now or never, she thought.
“I’m not shy! I just don’t hug strangers the first moment I see them. If YOU are fine with it...well, that’s your thing….but I AM not fine with it. And I would really appreciate it, if you would NOT hug me…” she said in a strict tone.
Dot had to hide her smile. Definitely a Bongiovi…that could be really funny now.
Kris crossed the room and tried to get as much distance as possible between that woman and herself. She glanced at Jon and hoped he wouldn’t be angry or something, but he just winked at her.
“But…but…I’m your grandmother.” Carol stuttered indignantly.
“For me you are a stranger. Or did I meet you in the last couple years?” Kris replied dryly.
“You didn’t even tell me your name!” She added.
“My name is Carol!” her voice was no longer on a normal level.
“Johnny, how can you let your daughter talk like that with ME?” Her voice was shrill now.
Kris covered her sensitive ears, even the glasses in the bar were ringing. Ouch!
Jon stood up slowly. Eyeing his mother with clenched teeth. Dot could see how angry he was.
“I let her talk like that with you mother, because she’s right!” Carol gasped.
“Johnny...how can you dare…?” But Jon stopped her
“How can I dare? How can I dare? Who did come here without calling before? Who wanted to stay even though everyone was saying it was way too early? Who gushed over Kris like they were old friends and didn’t think about her feelings for a second? YOU MOTHER! It was YOU!” Jon was yelling now.
Carefully Dot walked over to stand between Jon and Kris. She really didn’t want to be sitting in the fire line right now. She knew that Jon let Carol push him around sometimes and always took her critizen to heart, but he always loses his temper when she is saying something against his kids.
Dot just didn’t expect him to already react so vehemently for Kris. Seemed she already stole his heart in the last two days.
Carol stared at her oldest son. “John…” She turned to her husband. “Why don’t you do something?”
John stood up slowly and nodded. He turned to Kris. She tensed…what would he do now?
Smiling he offered his hand. “It was a pleasure to meet you Kristin. I really would like to see you again in a couple weeks. Maybe you give me a call and we could go out for lunch. Your dad has my number.” Wow! Really old school…she liked it.
Kris smiled and shook his hand. “I would like that. Thanks John.”
He winked at her, then turned to Dot and gave her a brief hug and kiss on the cheek. After nodding at his son he turned to Carol and said really calmly: “I think we should go, Carol.”
Carol couldn’t believe it. “But…but John! She was as bold as brass…she.”
“It’s enough Carol!” John pushed his wife towards the door. “Bye kids.” Then they were gone.
Jon closed his eyes for a second. “I’m so sorry, Kris.”
She looked at him. It really seemed he was and the way he talked…no one ever stood up for her.
“It’s ok. I know from experience that you can’t control your own mother…” She sighed deeply. “I would appreciate a little warning when she shows up again though.” She paused briefly. “Can I play piano now?”
“Uhm...sure, sweetie!” Jon was a bit confused. He looked at Dot, but she just shrugged her shoulders.
What did Kris mean by that? Was Susan acting like that too? He couldn’t believe that. He will have to ask Kris about that as well…but later. He ran his hands through his blond hair a couple times. Dot knew what was coming.
“I’m going over to the pub for an hour or so.” Dot nodded.
“Alright, Jon….but please remember the kids want to play with their father later and don’t want a dad with headache.” She said smirking.
He smiled slightly. “I know, Dotty.” After a small kiss, he walked out into the backyard.
He really wanted to give Kris the chance to get used to the rest of the family. The next weeks would be stressful enough for her with a new school and all the other things that would come along with that. Chapter eight
Friday morning was a nightmare.
After their exhausting game last night Dot and Jon really could have need a bit more sleep this morning. Unfortunately, that wasn’t an option and to top all that Steph and Jesse decided that they hate school and won’t go there.
They wanted to play games with Kris. Nothing what Jon or Dot said seemed to make sense in their little brains and that Kris didn’t have to school today wasn’t helpful either. Even her promising that they could play later and that they have to tell her then what they did at school today wasn’t helping, though Jon really appreciated her trying.
It seemed that she was actually handling small kids very well. In the end Jon had two crying kids in his car and a very exhausted Dot sitting at the kitchen table.
Rushing in again to say goodbye to Dot and Kris, Jon had to smile when Kris put a big coffee mug in front of Dot.
He bent down and kissed Dot softly. Letting his hand ran through her hair, he said “Be strong, darling. In less than 14 hours we are back in bed.”
Dot groaned. “I’m not sure I’ll survive that” she said.
“We don’t have a choice, baby.” He laughed while walking over to Kris.
“Thanks sweetie.” He gave her a brief hug. He really didn’t want her to tense again. She looked at him a bit unsure. “You are welcome” she said hesitant.
After Jon and the kids left, Dot and Kris were having a cup of coffee together. Dot could see that Kris still felt unsure about Jon's hug.
“Kris…” she started, knowing that she had to choose her words carefully “…I don’t know how your mother handled it, but here it’s normal that Jon and I hug and kiss our kids.”
Kris looked up. “There doesn’t have to be a special occasion or something, we just do it and so do Steph and Jesse. You will see that especially in the evening they cuddle with one of us on the couch. It’s our way to show the other one how much he or she means to us.” Dot didn’t use the word “love” on purpose. That would have been way too early for Kris.
“I can’t remember that my mother ever did that.” Kris barely whispered.
Dot looked at her surprised. But before she could asked, Kris wanted to know whether she could play piano.
“Sure, no problem.” Dot said. She looked at Kris thoughtfully when she left the kitchen.

Nearly one hour later Jon was finally back.
“That was a hard piece of work.” Jon sat down and sighed deeply. “Please tell me, it will be different on Monday.” Dot laughed and gave him a cup of coffee.
“Well, Kris has to go to school on Monday too, so I’m hopeful.” She said.
“Where is she?” Jon asked taking a deep sip of coffee. Exactly what he needed now.
“Listen.” Dot replied. Jon put the cup of coffee down and listened.
“She’s playing piano?” He was surprised. Dot nodded.
Jon listened to the music, suddenly it stop and it sounded like someone was pushing all keys at the same time. Jon winced. Dot started to laugh.
“I can’t find that very funny. The piano turner was just here a couple days ago.” Jon said frowning.
“Oh, come on, Jon. What do you think why he needed to come…huh? You are doing exactly the same when you can’t remember the notes.” Dot said half laughing.
“I…never…I would never do that to a piano.” Jon said shocked. “David would kill me!”
“Well, then you should never play piano when he’s around, cause you ARE doing it!” Dot pointed out. Jon opened his mouth to say something, but her stern look made him close his mouth again.
“Maybe I can help her.” He said and stood up.
“Be nice, Jon.” Dot called after him.
“I’m always nice!” Jon called back. But she was right, he had to calm down.
When Jon entered the room with the grand piano, he finally recognized the song Kris was trying to play. For Elise, Beethoven. Actually she was playing it pretty good. But everytime she reached one particular part of the piece, she failed.
Now again. Frustrated she cursed and her hands attacked the keys again.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa…” Jon stepped closer to the piano. Kris turned around in surprise.
“I still need it, you know.” Jon said with a twinkle in his eyes.
Kris closed her eyes and let out a deep sigh. “I’m sorry. It’s just not working….I couldn’t play in the last couple weeks and now my fingers won’t do what my brain tells them.” She was desperate by now.
He smiled happily; this had been the longest sentence she said since she arrived. She seemed much more relaxed than yesterday. Is the music doing that?
Jon watched her carefully. She was trying hard to control herself, starring at the music sheets in front of her and kneading her fingers, they probably hurt a bit.
“So, you had a piano at home?” he was curious.
She shook her head. “No, but I could play at a neighbors place. Actually he taught me.” A slight smile was on her face.
“He taught you? Then he must be really good himself…” Kris looked at him. “…you sounded great, sweetie.” Jon added.
“Yeah, right.” Kris snorted.
“No, really, Kris.” Jon tried to convince her.
She shrugged her shoulders. “I don’t get this part right.” She pointed at a section of music sheets. Jon took a closer look and made a face. Looks like some of the stuff David was carrying around.
“Could you play it? If I hear it once correctly, it’s easier for me.” Kris asked hopefully.
Jon shook his head. “I’m sorry, sweetie. The only times I sit down at a piano and play, is while writing a song. I’m not able to play an unknown song right away. I need to practice that as well.” Kris’ shoulders slumped, she looked sad.
“But I know someone who could help you.” Jon said. Kris looked up.
He took out his cell phone and hit the speed dial. He knew that David would be more than willing to help.
“Hey David, my brother. How are you doing?” Jon said smiling after he got David on the phone.
Kris couldn’t hear the answer, but it seemed that David said something funny, because Jon had to laugh.
“Well, would you do me favor and come over? I have a really nice, young, talented lady here, who needs your help with her piano skills.” Jon listened briefly and nodded.
“Yeah, it’s Kris.” She looked at him surprised. Jon winked at her.
“Ok, great. See you in a minute.” Jon ended the call.
“David will be here in a few minutes. He will help you.” He looked satisfied at her, but she just watched him confused. Suddenly it hit him; she had no idea what he was talking about.
“David is the keyboard player of my band. We know each other since we are 16. He’s a really good friend of mine or more like a brother.” Jon explained.
“Oh, ok.” Kris said. “You really think he can help me with this?”
“Yeah, I’m sure, sweetie. He studied one year at Juilliard.” Kris eyes wide recognizing the music school. “And he’s a really funny guy; you don’t have to worry about meeting him.” Jon added.

When David arrived Jon and Dot talked with him for a couple minutes. Telling him the little things they already knew about Kris. Dot asked him not to hug or kiss her, knowing that David could be really overwhelming sometimes.
When Jon looked at her surprised she told the two men about the conversation she had with Kris this morning. They were both as surprised as she was. How could a mother not hug or kiss her child? And their confusion only got bigger when David confirmed Jon’s translation of the German sentence Kris whispered in her sleep last night.
“So, you are the talented young lady?” David said when he entered the room. Kris stood up from the piano seat.
“Hi, I’m Kris. Nice to meet you.” She held out her hand hesitant.
David smiled and shook her hand gently. “I’m David. It’s a pleasure, baby.”
She looked at him confused for a second, but after a short glance at Jon, she realized that the endearment meant nothing.
“How long are you playing piano?” David asked while looking through the big pile of her music sheets.
“About 10 years by now. I’m just completely out of practice. I couldn’t play the last two weeks.” She kneaded her fingers again.
David noticed it. “Your fingers hurt.” It wasn’t a question, but a statement. Kris nodded.
“Ok, I know you want to get this song right, but I think it’s a good idea to start with something easier first to give your fingers the opportunity to get used to playing piano again.” David took some note sheets from the pile.
“How about this one?” he put the sheets down on the music stand.
Kris crocked an eyebrow. “Oh when the saints go marching in?”
“It’s a nice song and it will help your fingers.” David replied. Still not sure about that Kris sat down at the piano and started playing.
Jon watched the interaction between Kris and David. It gave him a good chance to get to know Kris a bit better and somehow he had the feeling that Kris appreciated it that he was here, even though she would probably never admit that. Stubborn girl.
A couple songs later Kris was playing much easier, her whole body seemed to be more relaxed, she was no longer forcing the notes to appear, but was feeling the music.
When David finally let her play “For Elise” again, it was perfect. Jon couldn’t help it and clapped his hands when she ended the song. She looked at him surprised.
“That was great, sweetie.” Jon said proudly. Kris only gave him a small smile.
“Yeah, that was really good, Kris.” David echoed Jon.
“Your fingers just needed a while, but if you practice continuous now, I think you won’t have a problem. Actually my job could be in danger in a couple years.” David laughed.
“Yeah, you could be right about that, buddy.” Jon said joining the laughter of his friend. Kris looked at them as if they were nuts.
“How about I come over from time to time and we work on some songs together. Would that be okay for you?” David asked Kris, he already knew that Jon would be fine with it.
“That sounds great. Thank you.” Kris answered nearly completely emotionless.
What’s going on with this kid, David asked himself. She seemed relaxed while playing piano, but now she has her walls back up. I wonder who hurt her that much. Maybe I can help her dealing with it through the music.
************************************

Chapter seven
A couple hours later Jon entered their bedroom. He just had to take a look at the kids again and made sure they are alright.
After dinner it wasn’t easy to get Steph and Jesse to bed. They wanted to stay with Kris and play games, but when she promised that she would play with them tomorrow and on the weekend, they finally agreed to go to bed. They had school tomorrow.
Kris on the other hand didn’t have to go to school tomorrow. Jon arranged a meeting with the principal of the high school for Monday. She’ll have to do a test that day. When he told her that during dinner she didn’t seem to worry about it.
Shortly after Steph and Jesse went to bed, Kris followed. She was still fighting the jetlag and was exhausted. But she wasn’t sleeping as calm as the other two. When Jon checked on her a couple minutes ago, she was moving anxious in her bed, a little stuffed dog pressed against her chest and mumbling something in German.
It’s been a while since he had to understand German without a translator; actually it only happened back in 1984 when they were touring with The Scorpions. They thought it would be funny to teach the American boys another language…and it was fun, they learned a lot of useful words and sentences, probably nothing any other student would learn at the beginning. Jon grinned.
But Kris said “Nein, ich will das nicht!” If he’s not mistaken, it means “No, I don’t want that.” But why in hell should she say that? He will have to ask David in the next couple days. Somehow he never had such a big problem with German. Joking about it he always said “It’s all about the last name!” Jon shook his head. If he would understand Italian, just because of his last name…would be great.
“So are you finally there, Jonny!” Jon rubbed his eyes. He had been so deep in his thoughts that he didn’t see Dot standing just a couple meters away from him, wearing nothing but……wow!.....his eyes grew wide, …wearing nothing but a red lace underwear set. Jon swallowed hard.
“Wow, Dot, you look…wow…is that new?” he wasn’t really able to think clearly. Somehow all the blood had left his brain and was already on its way to his cock.
She just nodded her head and walked slowly towards him, her hips swinging with every single step she took. Jon groaned softly, he was getting even harder.
She kissed him softly on the lips. He wanted to pull her close, but she stopped him. Shaking her head no, she took his hands and walked him over to their bed.
“This is just for you now, Jonny. You’ve been so tensed all day; I thought you need to relax now.” She whispered in his ear, her hot breath tickling it.
“Oh, baby…” Jon moaned.
Dot slowly started to unbutton his shirt, kissing his chest softly; she let her fingers wander down to his jeans. She rubbed him through the material, his cock twitched, Jon clenched his teeth. She was going kill him with that.
After Dot pulled down his jeans, she said “Lie on your back, Jonny…and relax.” Jon did as she told him. When he looked up, he could see her crawling slowly up the bed, spreading his legs so she could crawl between them. Jon gulped.
Her fingers softly touched his legs, his hips, wandering over his chest, her fingernail scratched over his nipples; Jon flinched at the short pain, which was stilled immediately when Dot licked over it. Her mouth found his and they kissed hungrily. His arms closed around, but she moved away instantly.
“Uh, uh” she shook her head again. Jon took a deep breath.
“Ok, baby…your game.” He said and closed his eyes. Dot smiled.
She moved down to his cock, letting her brown hair touch his chest while moving and touched him softly, she ran her fingernails up and down his chest, which made Jon shiver. When her tongue licked the velvet head, he inhaled sharply. Damn, she knew how to turn him on.
Dot wet her lips and slowly took him in her mouth. Jon groaned and his hands clenched the sheets. When she had him in her mouth the full length, she moved up again, caressing him with her tongue. She repeated this procedure a couple times, till Jon reached out and grabbed her hair.
She smiled when he tried to set up the pace, but instead she carefully close her teeth around his cock and let him slide from her mouth.
“Ohhh, God!” Jon threw his head back “Baby, please don’t stop!” he begged.
Again she took him in her mouth, just the head this time and started to suck and lick stronger. Jon’s hips began to move involuntarily, when Dot softly squeezed his balls, he knew he had lost the fight.
“Oh, Dot….YES!” he came forcefully in her mouth, but Dot didn’t mind. She sucked and licked every single drop from him away. Before straddling Jon, she took off her bra and panties. Watching his flushed cheeks, sweat running down his temples and his still unfocused eyes turned her on even more.
She bent down and kissed him softly, exploring his mouth with her tongue so he could taste himself. Jon moaned in her mouth, he could feel her wetness pressing against his stomach. Giving him a head turned her on as much as him.
Dot took his hands and placed them on her breasts. Softly Jon touched her, running his thumbs over her harden nipples.
“Harder, Jon!” she demanded. He squeezed her breast and sucked on her nipples. She screamed in pleasure covering her mouth with her own hand, not to wake the kids. This scream went right to Jon’s cock, which was pressing now against her back again. Even Jon was surprised about that…but she was just too hot and sexy.
Roughly Dot pushed his hands away and grabbed his member. Jon gasped. Stroking him twice she slowly lowered herself down on him. His only answer was a loud moan when her wetness enclosed his cock.
Slowly Dot started moving her hips, letting her hands touch herself. Jon reached his hands out to feel her breasts again, but she pushed them hard down beside his head. Using her full strength to keep his hands there, she asked him with gleaming eyes “Did I tell you to do that, boy?”
Jon’s eyes grew wide and he shook his head fast. It happened rarely that Dot tried to control him in bed…but this must be one of those days. He tried hard not to smile about his luck.
“Good.” She answered and began riding him slowly again. She was killing him with that, but everytime he moved his hips a bit faster, she just gave him a stern look. After a while he couldn’t take it anymore.
“Please…” he whispered softly. Dot bent down to his ear “Please what, boy?” she bit his earlobe. Jon flinched.
“Please faster.” he begged her. “Well, that’s not the right answer, boy.” She whispered in his ear.
His eyes flew open in shock and in the next second Dot pinched his nipples hard. Jon clenched his teeth.
“Try it again, boy.” Her eyes gleamed and she kept the slow pace up. Jon licked his dry lips.
“Please fuck me hard, mistress.” He begged her. She smiled evilly at him.
“You only want me to fuck you hard?” she asked with a grin. Oh, God…His eyes widen realizing his mistake.
“And let me come in side you ….mistress….and let me come inside you..” Jon added fast. She didn’t answer, but increased the pace.
Jon moaned. Her hips are moving terribly fast now; she used her legs to push even harder down on him. Her head was thrown back, her hands touched her breast.
“Oh, God…Dot yes!” Jon groaned. She took his hands and put them on her hips, indicating he should help her.
She didn’t have to ask him twice. After a couple powerful strokes, she screamed out her release, her walls clenched Jon’s cock so strong that he followed her immediately.
Lying tangled together both tried to control their breath and think clearly again. After a while Dot rolled off Jon, who winced when his cock slid out of her warmth.
He reached up and pulled a blanket over their sweating bodies. Engulfing Dot with his arms he said softly in her ear “I love you Dotty.”
Her sleepy reply was a soft smile and a whispered “….too, Jonny.” Exhausted, but happy Jon felt asleep too.
After dinner it wasn’t easy to get Steph and Jesse to bed. They wanted to stay with Kris and play games, but when she promised that she would play with them tomorrow and on the weekend, they finally agreed to go to bed. They had school tomorrow.

Chapter six
“Ok, let’s go upstairs. I’m sure you want to see your room.” Jon looked at Kris. She just nodded.
“It’s the last door here on the left “ Dot explained. “I thought you would like to have your own bathroom.” Kris looked at her surprised.
“Th…Th…Thank you.” She stuttered overwhelmed.
Maybe it wasn’t bad to live in a big house. When she entered her new room, she was stunned. The whole apartment her mother and she lived in would fit in here. Well, ok… maybe not the whole, but most of it. Actually this room was more a little apartment itself. It had a comfortable looking armchair with a TV in one corner and a desk with some boards close to the window. The bed was huge as well and there was not only her own bathroom, but a small walk-in closet.
“Wow. That’s great.” Kris was still stunned. Dot smiled.
“Great you like it!” She put the bag on the bed.
“Are these all your clothes?” she asked, looking over at Jon who just leaned the guitar carefully against the wall. She needs a stand for it, he thought. He found Dot’s eyes and nodded yes.
“Well, that means we have to go shopping in the next days.” Dot said with a huge smile on her face. Kris, who was still going around in the room, suddenly snapped her head around.
“That’s not necessary. I don’t need anything.” She said demanding.
Jon and Dot exchanged a surprised look. That could get difficult, if she doesn’t want things I can give her…. Maybe it’ll be different in a couple days. She needs to get used to everything first, Jon thought
“If you want to change anything here in the room, Kris….” Kris turned around again. “…that’s no problem, we can do it.” Jon said. She just nodded.
“I think we should leave you alone now, get yourself settled, unpack your stuff….you can put the box down in the basement…I’ll show you around later, ok?” Dot said shooing the kids and Jon out of the room
“We have dinner at 6 pm, because the kids need to be in bed early. I hope you like pasta?” Dot added.
Kris smiled. “Yeah, that’s fine.” She actually loved pasta. Dot nodded and closed the door.
“Whew!” Kris let herself fall on the couch.
They are nice, no question about it, but she was not used to have so many people around her. She was always on her own, barely had friends…it just wasn’t possible, they could have figured out the things about her mother.
I will probably don’t have a problem with Dot and the kids. They are really cute. She smiled about Steph enthusiastic babbling when they were walking upstairs. But Jon? Shaking her head she sighed deeply. What was that with the hug? No one ever did that, not even people she knew all her life and she just met him and he’s doing that….she shook her head again and started unpacking her stuff.
The few clothes she had were put in the closet very fast. Actually you didn’t even see them in there. She put her toiletries and the bit of make up she owned in the bathroom. Unbelievable…She really had her own bathroom with a huge shower and a bathtub.
She walked over to the window. What a great view. You could see the whole backyard; there even was a river and a pool. I can go swimming in the morning.
She could see three other buildings from her room. Didn’t she read that he has his own studio and pub on his property? Yeah…and the other building is probably a guesthouse or something.
She still couldn’t believe it…over all these years, she had to fight for every single meal and he was sitting here in such a house…but did he know? She will have to talk with him, that’s for sure…but she wasn’t able to do it now. She wanted to watch him a little longer before that talk. Who knows whether he really wanted her here? He said it, but she learned a lot of years ago that people often say things they don’t mean. She needed to live with him a while, before she could trust him. Just don’t let him come too close to you.
There was a slight knock on the door.
“Come on in.” Kris said. Steph slowly opened the door and sat down next to her on the bed.
“Is that your mommy?” she asked, pointing at the framed picture Kris was holding in her hands.
“Yes, that’s her.” Kris smiled lightly.
“Who’s that little girl?” Steph asked confused.
“That’s me when I was three years old.” Kris replied, preparing herself for the question that would automatically follow.
“Why didn’t you have a picture with her from now?” There it was. The same question the women from the Department of Children and Families Service asked.
“Well, we never took the time to get a new picture.” She lied, she didn’t want to, but she couldn’t tell that little girl the truth, it would be too hard for her.
“You miss her, right?” Steph whispered. Kris nodded, that was actually not a lie. She really missed that woman on the picture.
Steph put her arms around Kris’ neck. Hugging seems common in this family. “We share our mommy with you, I’m sure Jesse is fine with it.” Steph said.
“Thanks.” Kris answered, fighting her tears now. STOP IT, she was telling herself and regained control.
The girls didn’t see Jon standing in the door frame, watching Kris and Steph and realizing by the look on her face that she wasn’t saying the truth. What happened with Susi, he suddenly asked himself? I don’t even know how she died? He shook his head in disbelieve, but I can’t asked her…not yet.
“Steph, didn’t mom tell you to leave Kris alone for a while.” He asked his younger daughter…oh, I really need to differentiate now.
“Uhm…” Steph stuttered. Her father’s eyebrows rose, he wasn’t angry at all, he could barely hide his smile about how desperately Steph tried to find an excuse.
“….uhm, I thought she is already ready with packing her stuff away.” She finally answered.
“And you were right, I’m finished.” Kris said, before Jon could even reply.
He had to smile, nice one. Not even here for two hours and already helping her little sister out. This could get very interesting.
“Ok, then how about we show you the house, before Dot calls us down for dinner?” Before Kris could even say something, he yelled “Jesse boy, come here…let’s show Kris the house!”
In the next second Jesse ran into the room, Dot right on his toes.
“Do you have to yell like that?” she asked her hands on her hips. Jon just smiled at her and gave her a small kiss.
“I’m sorry, darling. It won’t happen again.” Dot sighed. “You say that everytime.” Shaking her head, she left the room and the rest of the family started their tour.

Chapter five
Shortly before 3 pm a cab stopped in front of the Bongiovi house. Kris' eyes wide in shock when she got out of the car and saw that huge building. Oh, shit…I’ll need a map to find my way around in that.
“Here kid, take your bag and guitar, I’ll take the box.” Miss Johnson gave her the small travelling bag. Kris frowned. Kid! This woman really started getting on her nerves. Why did she expect her to be different from the one in Germany?
While walking towards the door, it was opened by a man. Well, that’s him. He looks like on the pictures in the magazine, I read. Her hand cramped around her guitar bag. All of a sudden she was nervous.
Jon watched her walking towards the door. She wasn’t tall, maybe 5’2’’, slim figure, her long blond hair pulled back in a ponytail and even at the distance he could see her deep blue eyes.
He could tell she was nervous, her hands clenched around her guitar bag when she saw him standing in the door. He smiled. Well, it seems we have something in common.
“Hi, I’m Jon.” He said when Kris and Miss Johnson reached the door and offered his hand. “I’m glad you are here.” She put her bag and guitar carefully on the ground.
“I’m Kris.” She said nearly soundless. When she shook his hand, Jon pulled her in a small hug, he could feel her tense. Shit, way too fast Jon. He let her go again.
Dot showed up next to him. “Hi Kris, I’m Dorothea ...you can call me Dot.”
“Hi, nice to meet you,…Dot.” Kris said with a small smile. Well, it seems that his wife is not angry that I’m here. That’s something she was really afraid of.
“Why don’t you go inside? I’m with you in a minute.” Jon suggested. He really wanted to get rid of Miss Johnson. She was already annoying him with this slight smile on her face. Kris picked up her bag and guitar again, Dot took the box and they went inside.
“Where can I pick up the rest of her stuff?” Jon asked Miss Johnson.
“That’s all her stuff, Mr. Bongiovi…” Jon was surprised.
That bag was smaller than his when he was going away for a couple days. “…I need you to sign here…” Miss Johnson handed him a pen “…and these are all her documents: Certificate of birth, her new passport, her report cards from school in original and translated.” Jon signed the papers and took the documents.
“Thank you for everything Miss Johnson.” He shook her hand. She smiled. “Goodbye.”
“Goodbye, Mr. Bongiovi.” She turned around and left in the cab.
Jon closed the door and took a short glance at Kris’ report cards, which were on top of the file. Wow! She was really good at school. He shook his head with a smile, were they really sure she’s his daughter?
When Jon entered the living room, he saw Dot coming inside with Steph and Jesse. While Steph walked right over to Kris, Jesse ran into the other room.
“Jesse, come back.” Dot said, while helping Steph get out of her jacket.
“I need to get the picture.” Jesse shouted and rushed back in the living room in the next second.
Jon smiled. They were both so excited to meet Kris. Dot and him talked with them yesterday evening and were glad that they didn’t react jealous. Jon was a bit worried that especially his babygirl wouldn’t like the idea of another girl in the house, but Steph and Jesse thought it was really cool to have an older sister and surprised Jon with their questions.
“Why doesn’t she already live here, when she’s your daughter, daddy? I’m your daughter too and I live here?” Steph wanted to know.
“Uhm, well babygirl….I didn’t know that she was born. Her mom didn’t tell me that she was pregnant.” Jon tried to explain.
Steph looked at her mother in confusion
“Why didn’t you tell him that you were pregnant? And how could you not see that?” She directed to her father. “Mom was huge when she was pregnant with Jesse!”
Dot couldn’t hide the laughter. Jon’s face was great.
“Steph, I wasn’t pregnant with Kris, she is NOT my daughter, but only the daughter of daddy. Her mother is a woman dad met over 16 years ago, when he didn’t know me.” Dot added. Everything else would be too complicated for Steph and Jesse. Jon smiled thankfully at his wife.
“Oh!” Steph said. “And then you met mommy and now you love her, right?”
“Yes, babygirl.” Jon said relieved. Steph nodded satisfied with the answer.
But Jesse was frowning; Jon could see that he was thinking about something. “What’s wrong, Jesse?” he asked his 4-year old son. Maybe this was too complicated for him.
“Her mommy is in heaven now?” he asked with an unsure voice. Jon swallowed hard and took a deep breath.
“Yes, she is.” He answered.
“Then Kris must be very sad she can’t see her anymore.” Jesse moved anxious on Dot’s lap.
“I would be very sad if I couldn’t see mommy anymore.” He added, looking up at his mother. Dot smiled and kissed his cheek.
“Yeah, you probably right, Jesse.” Jon said smiling.
“I will draw a picture for her tomorrow.” Jesse ended his thoughts.
“That’s a good idea, Jesse.” Dot said and put him down to bed.
Well, and with this picture he came running back in the room right now. Dot stopped him to get him out of the jacket.
“Hi, I’m Steph.” Kris knelt down to be on her level.
“Hi Steph, I’m Kris….how are you?” She said with a smile.
“I’m fine…Great you are here.” And with those words Steph launched herself in Kris’ arms. Surprised by this action she lost her balance and ended up on the floor.
“Steph, watch out.” Jon said.
Kris raised her free hand. “I’m fine, don’t worry.”
“Let her go Steph, I want to say hi too.” Jesse demanded and pulled on Steph’s ponytail.
“Ouch, stop that you stupid idiot.” Steph hustled Jesse away and he landed on his rear end. Looking stunned the first second, he started to cry in the next one.
“Stephanie! You know you should not hustle each other or call each other names.” Jon said angry. Steph frowned while Dot picked Jesse up.
“Hm, didn’t really hurt, right baby?” Jesse shook his head.
“Good. Come on stop crying…” she wiped the tears off his cheeks “…why don’t you give Kris the picture?” Jesse nodded and Dot put him back on the floor, giving her daughter a stern look. Steph sighed.
“I’m sorry, Jesse.” Steph directed at her still sniffing brother.
He put his head to one side, thinking about it for a second. “Ok!” he said and walked over to Kris, who was still sitting on the floor, not sure what to think about all that. Well, it will never be boring here, she thought.
“ ‘his is for you.” Jesse said a bit shy and gave her the picture.
“Thank you, Jesse.” she looked at the picture “that’s a great car…” Please let it be one! “… I like the colour.” Jesse beamed.
“See, I told you blue is ok.” he said to Steph.
”She wanted me to make it piiink!” he told Kris making a face.
She laughed. “Well, I really like the blue…I’m not so much into pink, you know.” She whispered conspiratorial to Jesse.
Steph frowned. Oh, oh…
“But you are a girl, girls like pink.” Steph said pouting.
“Well, I’m a girl…you are right Steph, but pink is not my colour….you on the other hand look great in that pink sweater.” Kris replied. Steph beamed as well.
Dot and Jon exchanged a glance. The three will get along, that’ll be no problem.
“Here kid, take your bag and guitar, I’ll take the box.” Miss Johnson gave her the small travelling bag. Kris frowned. Kid! This woman really started getting on her nerves. Why did she expect her to be different from the one in Germany?

Chapter four
One week later the telephone rang.
“Yes.” Jon answered a bit nervous. Everytime the phone rang during the last week his heartbeat increased and this time it had every right to do it.
“This is Amanda Johnson. Am I speaking to Mr. Bongiovi?” the demanding voice echoed in his ear.
“Yes, hello Miss Johnson.” Jon replied.
Dot and his parents stopped dead in their conversation. Well, what a timing, Jon thought.
He finally told his parents two days ago. The only remark he got from his father was “I’m sure you know what to do now, son” and his mother added “You haven’t been there for her the last 16 years, you better be there for her now!” Why in hell, was he so scared to meet this girl?
“Mr. Bongiovi? Are you still there?”
“Huh, yes…Miss Johnson. Do you have the result?” Jon asked.
“Yes, I have. It says that with a probability of 99.99% you are the father of Kristin Francis. Congratulations, Mr. Bongiovi.” She added.
“Uhm, yeah. Thanks…..What happens now?” his head was spinning, he could barely think.
“Well, your daughter is already on the way to an airport in Germany. She’ll be in NYC tonight. I’ll pick her up and bring her to you….How about tomorrow 3 pm?” Oh, God…it all goes so fast!
“Yeah, that’s fine, we’ll be here.” Jon swallowed hard. “See you tomorrow, Miss Johnson.” He hung up and went straight to the bar, fixing himself a whiskey.
“Jon?” Dot put her hand on his shoulder. “What did she say?”
“I’m the girl’s father. She’ll be here tomorrow 3 pm.” He drowned the whiskey and closed his eyes.
Dot nodded. “Good. Then I better get one of the guest rooms ready. What do you think, which one would she like? The one close to our room or maybe the one at the end of the hall?”
Jon turned to her and snapped. “How the hell should I know that? I’ve never met that kid before!” Dot straightened her back and looked directly into Jon’s eyes. He sighed.
“I’m sorry, Dot. I know you only want to make her feel welcome…but…but…I’m not sure I can handle all that, what if she hates me?” Dot caressed his cheek; he looked really scared right now.
“What do you mean you can’t handle it? She’s your daughter for god’s sake! It’s your duty to be there for her.” Carol said strictly.
Dot tensed. Dammit Carol, for once in your life could you keep your opinion to yourself. Jon hung his head…Why was he so scared? John sen. put a hand on his wife’s shoulder.
“Why don’t you help Dorothea get the room for Kristin ready, darling?” He said calmly. Carol nodded. Dot took a deep breath…oh, great! With one last glance at Jon, she headed to the stairs.
“I think we should take the guestroom at the end of the hall, it has its own bathroom. I’m sure she’ll like that.” Dot said to Carol while they were going upstairs.
“You’re probably right, dear.” Carol answered.
John sen. looked at his son. “Listen son, it’s normal that you are scared.” Jon looked up surprised.
“It means you are thinking about all this, you don’t take her for granted, you want her to be happy…if you wouldn’t think about all this your heart would be of stone. Do you remember how scared you’ve been shortly before Stephanie was born?” Jon only nodded.
“But Johnny, this is a bit different…. think about how scared Kristin is!” Jon’s head snapped up again.
“She’s not a baby, she’s 16, she had a life back in Germany…and she has just lost her mother, her only family. She’s coming to a foreign country, to a family she doesn’t know, to people who are completely strangers to her. She doesn’t know whether you want her to be here or not.”
After a small break he asked calmly “You want her to be here Johnny, right?”
“Yes, of course, dad!” Jon answered shocked.
“Good, then you better do not act like that when she’s here, cause then she’ll think that you don’t want her.” His father pointed out.
“I’ll try my best, dad…I’ll try my best.” Jon said silently. His father patted his shoulder encouraging.
************************************
In a plane somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean, still a couple hours away from NYC, a 16 year old girl was trying to get her emotions under control as well.
Ok, memo to myself….I don’t like flying…, well not the take off and probably not the landing.
And why the hell do we have to watch this stupid movie? Titanic. A really brilliant idea to show a ship crashing into an iceberg while we are flying over some of them.
Shit, they must be really big if I can see them that clearly from up here. She sighed. I have really enough shit to deal with right now!
The stewardess stopped next to her. “Are you okay? Everything fine, darling?” Kris’ fingers clenched to a fist. DARLING? I’m nobody’s darling, you stupid…
”I’m fine. Thank you.” She answered with a small smile. The stewardess nodded and went away.
Kris rolled her eyes. I’m 16, not six; I’m able to be for myself for more then 10 minutes. What a luck that this annoying woman from the Department of Children and Families Services wasn’t allowed to fly with her. Too expensive. Maybe her colleague in NYC won’t be so overprotective and trying to consider her feelings in everything she says or does after her mother’s death…if someone tells me again that it’s ok to cry, I scream!!
I really hope he will not act like this.
He!
She still wasn’t able to think of him as her father.
Well, at least it seems that he’s a nice person. She asked some people about him before she had to leave and listened to some of his songs. Funny, she realized that she knew more of them than she expected. She could even play some of them on guitar and piano.
She shook her head. That’s really not easy. She didn’t expect it to be so complicated after her mother’s death. All of a sudden a lot of people were there to take care of her. They never showed up when she was younger and really needed help with her mom.
Kris sighed again. Well, at any rate it can only get better. I wonder if they told him how mom died? Maybe he expects me to be like her? Well, if this not working out, I can go back to Germany in two years. I don’t need anyone. I never had someone to count on all my life. I’m really able to live alone. Fuck, dammit…it’s my life, her anger was coming back, and it’s nobody’s business…and definitely not his’.
“Yes.” Jon answered a bit nervous. Everytime the phone rang during the last week his heartbeat increased and this time it had every right to do it.
“This is Amanda Johnson. Am I speaking to Mr. Bongiovi?” the demanding voice echoed in his ear.

Chapter Three
When David, Tico and Hugh arrived, Richie was wide awake. The reason was quiet simple, something was so damn wrong with Jon. He wasn’t paying attention to anything, seemed to be miles away with his thoughts and he and Dot seemed to be fine, there was no tention between them. What the fuck is going on here?
The others realized it as soon as they were in the living room. Jon had handed them some milk instead of coffee. Only Hugh had a happy smile on his face. He loved milk and most of the time the others made fun of him about that. Now he took a deep gulp of the cold white liquid and sighed happily. Tico watched him with disgust.
David eyed Jon surprised “Are you ok, buddy?”
“Yeah.” he answered absently.
Tico looked at Richie who just shrugged his shoulders. “Did you and Dot have a fight.” The drummer asked carefully. Holding the glas of milk like it was poison. He really hated that stuff.
“Yeah.” Jon answered again, not paying attention. Richie shook his head no.
David looked at him, squeezing his eyes evily together “Will you give me all your money, Jon?”
“Yeah.”
“You all heard it.” David rubbed his hands happy and had a huge smile on his face.
“Oh, keep it Joker.” Richie said, walked over to Jon and grabbed him by his shoulders.
“What’s wrong buddy?” he asked.
“Huh? What do you mean?” Jon blinked.
“Well, you are acting a bit weird, we are worried, what’s going on?”
“Weird? What do you mean with weird?” Jon asked slightly pissed.
“Well, do you think I can have a cookie with my milk?” Tico asked him dryly.
“Cookie? What milk?…you don’t drink milk Tico…ohh.” Jon said, realizing the unusual drinks of his friends. He sat down on the couch and let out a sigh.
“Ok, listen…I have a daughter.” He said.
“Yeah, we know….her name’s Stephanie.” Richie was really starting to worry now. Did he lost his mind? Or maybe his memory? Dot didn’t mention an accident…
“No, no, no…” Jon ran his hands through his hair in frustation. “I mean, yes. Steph is my daughter…. But I have another daughter!”
Four pairs of eyes looked at him stunned. “Ok, buddy slow down and start at the beginning.” Richie demanded.
Jon explained what had happened this morning.
The visit of Miss Johnson, her shocking message, that he had to go to the hospital later to make the paternity test. That Dot didn’t freak out like he had expected, his friends were surprised as well, and that she was completely calm about it, not because she thought that it is not his kid, but knows that he didn’t know that Susi was pregnant.
After he ended his friends stay calmed. Nobody knew what to say.
Richie watched Jon sitting on the couch, nervously running his hands through his hair again and again. He could feel for him. This situation was his own little worst nightmare.
He always expected that someday someone would stand at his door step and would say “Hi, I’m your daughter” well or son. Actually it was surprising that it didn’t happen yet, with all those girls he met back in the ‘80.
“Would someone of you jerks please say something!” Jon nearly screamed. They all looked at each other…yep, close to break down. Something that rarely happened.
“Wow, that’s…wow!” was all David could say.
“Yeah, thanks a lot smartass, I already figured that out on my own.” Jon snorted.
“I have no idea how to tell my parents and how to deal with the girl….I mean she’s probably completely upside down, she had just lost her mom, has to leave her friends, anything she knows…..I don’t even know whether she speaks english or not.” Jon realized shocked.
“Well, I think first of all you should calm down, Johnny.” Tico said. “It’s not helpful if you panic…especially not for the kid.” Jon nodded and tried to relax a bit.
“And don’t expect her to love you the minute she walks through the door, if she likes you, you can be really happy, but she will probably hate you….remember she wanted to know who her father is and her mother didn’t tell her, she propably doesn’t know that you didn’t know anything about the pregnancy, for her you are the asshole, who wasn’t there…and if she’s only a bit like you…She’ll be pissed!” Tico ended his lecture.
Jon looked at him, realisation finally kicking in. “Oh, God!” He let himself fall back on the couch. “I’m so dead! How should I handle a teenage girl with my temper?”
The others laughed. “Well, you should get some earplugs…” Jon looked confused at David.
”…as far as I remember you lost your temper on a daily basis as a teenager and you know you have to protect your ears, we are going on tour next year.” David said with a huge grin on his face.
The others laughed even harder while Jon put his head in his hands and groaned. Damn, David was right, he wasn’t really able to control his temper as a kid or teenager. And when he is seeing how often Steph is already loosing it…..oh, shit and she’s only six, no hormones kicking in that make everything more complicated. Lord help me!
The others realized it as soon as they were in the living room. Jon had handed them some milk instead of coffee. Only Hugh had a happy smile on his face. Chapter Two
Jon stared at Miss Johnson shocked. He has a 16 year old daughter? But why didn’t Susi tell him?
“Are these the only hints you have?” Dot asked.
“Unfortunately, yes, Mrs. Bongiovi. The girl was never been told who her father is, even though she asked her mother a couple times” Miss Johnson replied.
“What now?” Jon stuttered. Dot looked at him surprised. He was completely out of balance.
“Well, we’ve been contacted from our collogues in Germany, who found the certificated of birth and taking care of the girl right now. She has no other relatives, and even if there would be any….you are her father….well, at least we think you are. Would you agree to make a paternity test?”
“Yes.” Jon said without hesitation.
“Ok, could you meet me today at 4 pm at the public health office? They already took a sample from the girl and analized it, we will compare the result with your test and then we know.”
“When can I see her?” Jon asked a bit worried.
“Our collogues will fly with her to the USA as soon as we know that you are her father…don’t worry, they are taking good care of her in the home right now.” She assured him.
“Yeah, right!” Dot snorted.
Miss Johnson glared at her. “She has a roof over head and gets food, that’s all that counts.” Miss Johnson said sternly.
“Sometimes that’s not enough.” Dot said bitter. She had worked with a lot of kids from homes in her dojo, giving them free lessons, helping them to deal with the fear especially some girls have, and she knew what those kids really needed, was someone who loves them, but somehow those people from the DCFS didn’t seem to get it.
“I think everything is said so far” Miss Johnson got up with a clearly disapproving glance at Dot. “I’ll see you at 4 pm” she looked at Jon.
“Yes, let me take you outside.” He walked her to the door.
A couple minutes later Jon re-entered the kitchen carefully. He had no idea how Dot would react to all this. But he expect the worse. People were always saying that he had a bad temper, well they never saw Dot when she was really mad and that combined with her karate skills was a deadly mixture…...to his surprise she was still sitting at the table, looking at him patiently, there was no anger in her eyes. Ok….that’s scary too, he thought.
After Jon and Miss Johnson left the kitchen, Dot started thinking about everything. She realized rather fast that she didn’t have any right to be angry at Jon. He didn’t know that the girl was pregnant, she probably didn’t know it either when she left the States. But most importantly Jon and her weren’t together at that time. They had seperated after a fight and Jon came back at mid december begging her to try it again. They never really talked about what happened in this couple weeks they weren’t together, but she dated in this time and always assumed Jon did it too. Well, she was right.
“Tell me about Susan, Jon.” She asked calmly.
“We haven’t been together at that time, remember Dot, we broke up shortly after Halloween that year.” Jon said nervously.
“I know that Jon.” He looked at her surprised.
“I’m not angry. You didn’t know that she was pregnant, right?” Jon shook his head no.
Dot walked towards Jon and put her arms around his neck, so she could look him deeply in the eyes. “I know you, Jon. If you’d known, you would have been there for the kid, even if that would have meant that we probably wouldn’t be back together. You ain’t one of those guys who run away from their responsiblities.”
“Yeah” he barely whispered, cleared his throat and started talking.
“I met Susi in a bar at the boardwalk, she was on her own, doing vacation here after she graduated. She told me that she always dreamt about coming here and her parents fulfilled her dream, even if it was rather expensive for them. She was 19 or 20 at that time. We talked all night. She was talking about her family and I talked…”
He hesitated shortly “…about you.” Dot looked up surprised.
“In the last two weeks she was here we met daily, we went to NYC several times…and spent some time in her hotel room.” Jon flushed lightly. Never thought he would be able to tell Dot about that time.
“Well, the day she left, she told me that I should try to see you again. I talked so much about you that she realized how badly I still love you. I was a bit shocked when she told me…but as so often I wasn’t able to see clearly through my feelings” Jon added slightly grinning.
Dot nodded. Yeah, she already knew that problem and she was surprised. That girl told him to go back to her….wow!
“And you are sure that it is your kid…I mean, she could have been already pregnant or got it shortly after she went home?” Dot asked curious.
Jon smiled softly. “No, I’m sure she wasn’t already pregnant.” Dot gave him a questining look.
“Jon, …with all my respect, but you didn’t realize that I was pregnant till I showed you the picture from the ultrasound and at that time my belly was already visible…you ain’t no expert when it comes down to that.”
Jon smiled softly remembering the moment Dot told him about Steph. “Yeah, but this is different….” He stopped briefly. “…I was her first.” He added.
“Oh, ….ok, that’s a hint, ….you are right.” Dot said a little bit surprised.
Jon pulled her slowly into his arms, not sure it would be ok for her. Dot smiled and gave him a small kiss. He breathed out relieved and held her even closer, buring his head in her hair. They were standing like that, holding each other, making sure that the other one was more or less alright, for a couple minutes.
“What do we do now, Dot?” He was still confused and had no idea what to do next.
“Well, you go to the doctor today and I go grocery shopping and pick the kids up from school, then all we can do is wait. If I’m not mistaken it’ll take a few days till we get the result.” Dot softly caressed Jons cheek
“Baby, calm down…I know it is hard for you that you can do nothing else but wait…” Jon sighed and nodded “…but that’s what we have to do now!” Dot said.
“Ok” Jon said. Dot walked to the kitchen door “Dotty…” She turned around. “I love you.” She smiled at him. “I love you too, Johnny.”
